Craftsmanship

Founded by master cabinetmaker and furniture designer Andrew Hart, Harts Woodworking creates beautifully bespoke furniture for kitchens, bedrooms and studies, all crafted to suit the way you live.

Andrew’s love of wood runs in the family. His father, an accomplished coach-builder….

fashioned ash-framed vehicles by hand, instilling in Andrew a deep respect for traditional workmanship. Inspired, Andrew honed his own talents in metalwork and woodwork at school before studying Art & Design at Hereford College of Art and furniture making at Hereford College of Technology.

Early in his career Andrew joined a leading London furniture studio, then returned to Herefordshire to work with a high-end kitchen manufacturer. There he added professional kitchen installation to his skill set—experience that now allows him to design, build and fit each project personally.

Today, Harts Woodworking offers you the convenience of a complete, start-to-finish service. From the first hand-drawn concept to the final, carefully aligned cabinet door, Andrew and his small team handle every step themselves. The result is furniture that feels as though it has always belonged in your home—crafted with care, delivered with professionalism, and built to stand the test of time.

Our Values

Andrew Hart and Team

Passion for craftsmanship

At Harts Woodworking, everything starts with quality, care, and a genuine love of craft.

Founded by cabinetmaker and designer Andrew Hart, we specialise in creating bespoke furniture for kitchens, bedrooms, and home offices, each piece thoughtfully designed…

and beautifully made to suit your space and lifestyle.

In a world of mass-produced flat-packs, we take pride in doing things differently. Every item we make is hand-crafted using time-honoured techniques and built with attention to detail that’s hard to find today. Whether you’re looking for a statement piece or a whole room of fitted furniture, you can be confident it will be designed, made, and installed with the same dedication.

This passion for craftsmanship runs deep. Andrew was inspired by his father, a skilled coachbuilder who worked with traditional ash frames. That early influence, along with years of training and hands-on experience in both design and installation, means Andrew brings a unique blend of creativity and practical skill to every project.

We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Your home is personal—and your furniture should be, too. That’s why everything we create is fully bespoke, from the initial sketch to the final fitting. We take the time to understand how you live, what you love, and what will truly work in your space—whether it’s a character-filled listed home or a sleek new-build.

From traditional hardwoods to painted finishes, from metal and glass to granite, we work with a wide variety of materials to bring your ideas to life. And because we offer a full design-to-installation service, you won’t need to juggle different tradespeople or suppliers. We take care of it all—with care, clarity, and craftsmanship at every step.

Our clients come to us for beautiful, bespoke furniture—but stay with us because of the trust, quality, and attention they experience throughout the journey.
